The Podcast Guys are extremely happy to announce that we’ve been nominated for ‘Creative Start-Up of the Year’ at the upcoming London Start-Up Awards.
The awards, which are set to take place on June 8TH at Big Penny Social in East London, celebrate the achievements of the top start-ups across multiple sectors in the UK’s buzzing capital city.
The Podcast Guys are no strangers to awards, having taken home a 2022 Lovie Award for ‘A Right Royal History: Bond Street, The Queen & The History of Style’, narrated by Poppy Delevingne. We’re quite happy to make a habit of gaining this kind of recognition, both as a company and in partnership with our clients.
“It really is an honour to be recognised as a finalist for the Creative Start-Up of the Year amongst some stiff competition.” – The Podcast Guys CEO and Founder, Dan Cottrell
“The business has moved forward at a rapid pace since 2020 and although the day to day doesn’t feel like a start-up anymore, becoming a finalist provides an opportunity to reflect on just how much we’ve achieved in such a short amount of time.”
Whilst the feeling of outgrowing the ‘start-up’ label is present across the company, the hunger and desire for growth is an element of the famous ‘start up mentality’ that the entire team are keen to keep hold of. Dan Cottrell credits this very mentality as the driving force behind this award nomination.
“Of course, our success is down to the amazing team who I have the privilege to work with daily. They are some of the greatest, most creative minds in the podcasting industry and it’s humbling to see their hard work recognised in this way.”
