Edison Research have just officially released their ranked Top Ten Podcast Genres for last year (Q4 2021 – Q3 2022).
The survey, which measures actual listening, not downloads, takes from a sample of 11,675 podcast listeners and demographics. For the full list of 20 genres, see here.
Most notably, you will notice that business, as a genre of podcasting, has moved up to spot six – above both history and the arts!
